I finally spent the money and got the bags.

The other thing I bought which was needed for the tablet is a 128 g micro SD card. Only loaded one file and that took up almost all the space on the tablet. My plan is to bring it tonight and take pictures and video with it. Along with my camera to do both as well. Helping out a friend who is doing a big event tonight. Got to get ready for a meeting to find out if I'm going to be the DJ doing an event on 11-30-19. And for your information Chris if I get the job it will be me as the DJ.

One bad thing about doing this event is if I do the event and the elevator isn't working that means getting the gear up the stairs to the second floor and that means getting one of the 801p subs up the stairs. Wish we didn't have to use a sub but the room is too big to not use at least one sub. Ugh! That's the one thing I hate about doing events in this venue.
It's NOT the room size, it's the crowd size ... 20 people and a pair of 8" speakers is fine ...

You know ...Us DJs take pictures of the WEIRDEST OR MOST BORING things, and share those pictures with others like iit's totally normal!

We are a weird bunch.

I think I will take a picture of all my bags under the table at my next gig to let you all know what my carry bags look like, and how I store them at the gig after I have set up for the gig. Then we can have a lengthy conversation of the various ways of putting bags under the table, and what better alternatives we might have available to us. Then I am sure a few of you will say your bags are better, or more pro than the ones I use, and recommend I upgrade my bags. Others might chime in with the best advice on bag cleaning and organization. ...It goes on and on...we are a peculiar bunch... and it is amazing that this stuff fascinates us

You keep saying that .. we DO NOT believe it (from experience mind you) ..
With an event like this you're not allowed to take pictures. I could take pictures of the room without people in it and just pictures of my setup. That's all I'm allowed to do.

I wasn't referring to pictures but rather your assessment that a nice small set of speakers wouldn't work in "that room with that crowd". I think you're too hung up on BIG speakers being necessary and the answer is they rarely are EVER for less than 25 people , regardless of room size.

We have no interest in photos of individuals at your gigs crowd shots of 20 or more people dancing at one time are fine and don’t ever make a gig log without a shot of your set up

Can't take pictures of the crowd at this event. Just pictures of the setup. No posting of pictures of people online at these events.

I just came back from KPODJ and bought 2 bags for Yamaha DSR 115' tops. I got both for $140 and they cover the entire speaker. They also have a separate compartment to put wires in. I will post pictures when I get time. Right now I don't feel well. I was asked to play today but I'm in no condition to play today. I feel like I want to vomit but I haven't yet. The bags are Stage bags. They are very nice. I will see what my partner says about them.
it's a good investments, I mean God our speakers are our life blood, I always just used to throw blankets on in the back of the van and when storing them, but I really should have covered my hisys 2's properly. don;t think of you as spending money, think of it as saving damage to your speakers !
