Yesterday I bought 2 scrims from Ebay for a very great price. They are black and that may be a good thing because they are black. Should hide dirt well. Now just got to wait for when we can get to do an event for a client. I bought them for 2 reasons. Make the setup look better and even though it's a tough time right now I'm not ready to retire. Some may because of the situation we're in right now but not me. I believe things will get better. Just don't know when that will be. I will take a look at them in a minute.

Sorry I made 2 mistakes. The spelling is Skrim and they are white. They were in a black pouch.

I'm not buying anything DJ-related right now. If anything, I've considered selling almost everything. I've got at least a few months before my next scheduled event and big weddings are at least six months away. The casino that I play at tells me that we won't be back until December at the earliest. I could easily just buy the latest gear when things begin to get back to normal.

Scrims? Not a chance. For items like that, the prices are only going to go down unless they start using them to make masks.

Well the other thing we picked up from a friend is a Peavey 2000 amp. I know it's an old amp but a classic and for the price we couldn't pass it up.

Must be nice to get government money during this pandemic! Must also be nice to have your boyfriend lift all the gear. We KNOW that's not true.

At 55 pounds, unless it sits in place all the time, I would have passed on it .. regardless of price. You can buy a used QSC PLX2402 or PLX2502 for under $300 and a heck more manageable.
