I try to keep it tidy, but I don't obsess over it.
Why don't you need those things no matter what kind of DJ you are?Backup is one thing... REDUNDANCY!!!... That’s what I was into. Ah... those were the days. Now my systems have been somewhat dismantled. You don’t need redundancy, backups, or reliability if you’re just a hobby DJ.☹
Ross, that white curved facade....stunning and unique!!
Looks good, but I think I'd get rid of the ProX sticker facing the dance floor!
There is a sub-reddit for stuff like this - r/djsetups
Here's an example that I think is using the same controller -

The starting price for sound only for 4hrs is $2500 w the average wedding I do being closer to $3500... for my area that starting price is 3rd or 4th highest in the state. The top 3 are all celebrity djs... sooo for now gotta be humble. I plan to go to $2750 next... but that would be too big a jump too soon from my previous price increase.
Im a little confused as to what you’re asking... I have two controllers for two different set ups. The one w the facade, the controller is in the coffin/road case and goes on top of a table. For the podium, the white part that houses the controller ispreconfigured and has its own case... about 80lbs. The vertical podium part that connects the white controller housing to the base has its own road case as well.
I’m gonna try and take pics at the next event if I remember.

I’m realllyyy confused lol... send me a pic of which set up you want more info on lolI am asking about your DJ Table, what you call a podium. Sorry, just hate that word Reminds me of a conference with someone speaking or giving a lecture. HAHAH.
Ya, definitely take a pic of the cases that hold your podium including the table part. It's the main reason I don't have one as I don't currently have the transport space but I freaking love the DJ Furniture look. Jealous!
But what controller do you have behind the facade? Are you referring to the lighting controller?
Stage presence is a set that clearly says you're there to ENTERTAIN. Technically, we could completely retreat from the space and DJ from inside the nearest closet - and some setups look like that's what some people are trying to do.
I don't want to be confused for the reservation or reception desk. I want it to be clear form the first glance what my role is. I no longer do all of the glam that Taso brings but, I do occupy space much as a live band would do in order to make it clear that we are here for a party and dancing - not a seminar.

How on earth does that work your mixer being knee level. Are you sitting?
Yeah Ross, I am going to echo what he said.Ross, that white curved facade....stunning and unique!!
Thanks for sharing Rocky but wherez da speakrz at? You must have 4 arms, How on earth does that work your mixer being knee level. Are you sitting?
Yeah what they said!I was gonna ask the same thing!
Yeah Ross, I am going to echo what he said.
Who makes the curved facade ?
Ok, I must admit, I am showing off here, but I also take great pride in offering a very clean, streamlined, but tech-heavy "package." I honestly don't of another DJs setup that is this clean for gigging at weddings.
During Covid, I made some adjustments (no more table) and am absolutely loving this setup. I have only done a handful of gigs this year, but I have never had so many compliments from vendors and venues. It feels good to be noticed before I even perform.
I would like to thank this forum among a couple of others and FB groups to spark ideas of not only what to do, but not want to do, even if subjective. It's a great time we live in where we can all share our ideas and learn from each other.
