Hi guys it's been a while though I'd stop in and say Hi. Yes, I am still alive and well stopped doing school events (todays music sucks) and Weddings I left for the younger fellows, but I have been doing a lot of car show events. First, I don't have to put on my monkey suit anymore the people are nice I am outside in the nice weather and seeing some GREAT looking rides. I make my setup as nice as possible, but I don't have to be really picky cause I'M OUTSIDE having fun.

ya know how some guys are very sensitive about how their setup has to be and look well when you're outside with car show people they are looking at other cars not your setup. much much more relaxed atmosphere and you can I have WAY MORE FUN doing car shows than schools or weddings. I will say this I need to do 3 car shows to make the money that 1 wedding gets. Don't have to worry about are all my cables hid is my tie straight is my hair combed Just have fun

I never was much into school events.
I liked doing simple gigs like car shows, picnics and other background music events. I always LOVED weddings since they are very interactive. I have two coming up in rhe first weeks of November, but I've been away from weddings for so long, thanks to Covid, that I am quite nervous. My fears are only with the horrible quality of new music and my lack of interest in it.

i stopped doing schools in 2020, covid hit in March 2020 so I basically stopped getting new music in 2020 Most if not all new music SUCKS anyway even country has taken a step back. A lot of things have changed since covid, and it will NEVER go back. Like I said weddings is a younger man's activity, I don't have to worry about playing something wrong at a school because I don't do them anymore, my equipment is getting heaver to lug around (gained weight) I long for the good old days, but I know that will never happen. I enjoy DJing and doing car shows is the ticket laid back atmosphere, Nice people, Great looking cars and I am outdoors just doesn't get any better than that

I just got the paperwork. Fortunately this couple is in their late twenties and early thirties, so most of the music they like is the '90s. In talking to them, they agreed that most of the new music is quite bad.

I've been listening to the Billboard Hot 100, and the hot hits on Spotify.
Actually, right now there are a handful of pretty good songs. Good for dancing and not too offensive.
