Here's someone else trying to run a scam.

This one is too funny. This is a classic. Got a call saying something is wrong with my computer and being online. I told him he was lying. How I know he was lying is because my computer isn't working right now. LOL. It needs to be put back together. They will try anything. Just got to stay on your toes.

What's wrong with your computer Mixmaster??

I like the one where they say they’re Microsoft and my Windows license has expired. Sometimes I’ll ask them WHICH license, because I have several Windows 7 and 10 licenses, so I need to know which product code has expired. Sometimes I tell them I pirated the Windows installation on my computer, so I’ll just pirate a new one if mine stops working. The thing is, you don’t register Windows with your name or phone number, so Microsoft would have no way of knowing how to contact you. I can’t believe people actually fall for that scam.[emoji1]

What this means - is that if your computer was working and online, you would have fallen for it.

Got another one. This one said they are from a law office and I won 3rd place in the PCH sweepstakes. I was asked did I receive a blue envelope? Bottom line is I'm supposed to have won $500,000. I just needed a pen and paper to write down what to do so they could send me the check. I told him I was driving. All of a sudden the call got dropped. I tried calling back and the phone kept being busy. Nice try though. He thought I was going to get excited. Not until I see the check in my hands. What will they try next?

My 14 year old just discovered the "your refrigerator is running" one I've been getting that call everyday for a week...I figure a few more days she will give up or change to the Robin Hood one ;)

And do they make Prince Albert in a can these days?

You don’t even do it right... It’s “do you HAVE Price Albert in a can”?[emoji1]... Let him out or he’ll SUFFOCATE![emoji1]

What about this one... “Do you have Pig’s Feet”?[emoji1]... Put your shoes on and nobody will know.[emoji1]

I wasn't "doing it" .. just asking if the product was still made .. the joke doesn't work if no one knows what it is in the first place.

Of course you weren’t.. Apparently you don’t know how!!![emoji1]
It wouldn't be the first time I "didn't know how" .. but I'm a quick learner.

What they will do is either try to get your bank info and tell you they need that to deposit the money into your account or tell you that to release the check you need to send them a certain amount of money. It's a shame how many people fall for either one.

How much did you lose? By the way I'm a Nigerian Prince and I'd love to give you my fortune ;)
