There is a California DJ known to us all as Mikey Mike (Mike Susca). For years he has given us tips and you tube videos about the latest DJ Gear and trends, along with helpful tips about the DJ business. He has undoubtedly helped many DJ entrepreneurs enhance their businesses with his “FREE” help. He has just endured a devastating flood that has destroyed not only his DJ gear, but also most of his furnishings, appliances, and basically the first floor of his home. HE HAS NO FLOOD INSURANCE. Apparently he does not live in a flood zone. This unusual flood damage is not covered by his homeowners insurance. I, along with many of my friends and neighbors, know only too well about such loss in the wake of Superstorm Sandy that devastated our homes and businesses 3 years ago here on the east coast. I am asking every DJ who read this, to send a donation to the Go Fund Me site which has been established to help Mike and his family. There are so many of us in this business, that a nominal gift of as little as $25 from each of us can provide substantial and beneficial relief for Mike and his family.
