Hello all, I just popped in to say hello and see how everyone doing. With everything opening up I figured things would be getting busy. I see Mix is still keeping things active. What’s funny is he got me listening to that Superman song he likes. I never heard it until he mentioned it. Now I’m like he know something I don’t.

Pretty much no week or two week tours yet just a single dates. I am starting to get restless now. The longest I’ve been out in the past two years was for CES in Las Vegas January for 6 days. I promised my son I’d take him. He the one that ended up showing me a few things. He took me the Heart Attack Grill, first I thought he wanted the insurance money. Then we’re in CES with a few mins to kill and he let’s go to the VIP area. Now, I like what? Still trying to figure out how he got connections so fast.

I know Mike’s in Allentown PA. Who’s in Boston? My son is in college there and I’ll be makes regular trips up there.

Hey nice to see you drop by Kevin. Bob (Proformance) is in Boson and Hank Davidson is also there may be a few others

Don't be a stranger :)

Welcome back.

It is weird starting to travel again. It was bad before Covid, now it is just terrible. Everything is packed, tempers are short and service is non-existent. I have a bunch of trips on my calendar this year including Japan, Switzerland, China, Canada, NOLA, SJC, LV, a few to NY and maybe even Greece and Israel if I can find the time. Japan just implemented a new visa process that is ridiculously cumbersome. Hopefully, it will be sidelined by the time I need to go. It could be a pretty packed year but I suspect we aren't done with Covid yet and some trips will get canceled. That wouldn't bother me.

So what was the CES VIP stuff your son got you into? Do you mean the VIP lunches, the CTA member party or the member lounges? Those were my favorite parts of CES and the best places for networking. I used to be a CTA member and standards chair and still have many friends within the CTA but sadly some of my favorite people have retired or died in the last few years. It will probably never be the same fun experience again.

Traveling again here too. I was at a trade show in Vegas in January (many empty booths)and Orlando ( no Chinese booths) in March. I'll be in Lancaster,PA in a few weeks. Indiana in April /may. Going to Germany in July.

He brought me to a couple of the vendor VIP areas. We had to split up early on, I couldn’t keep up with him as it was I walked 34 miles in 6 days. Intel, HP along with many other companies weren’t there this year. I spoke to my manager at Intel and he said there was still a hold on travel and new product releases would be done online. LG had a booth with QR codes, wtf. I really don’t like flying much anymore, I will hitting the Caribbean for vacation, LA, Vegas, and maybe Orlando but pretty much I am staying in the states. I find myself bouncing between MD & Boston now but I drive. Although I am taking Amtrak this weekend up. We will see how business picks up. I promised my wife I’d take her on the Disco cruise next year which goes out in March, many artists from the 70s/80s perform live.
