No it wasn't a private event. People were welcome to come. The thing was with my partners GF selling that Paparazzi Jewelry. I was there to just play some music and have fun playing for the seniors. We only brought one speaker because that's all was needed. No need for 2 because it wasn't that type of event. The music was just loud enough for people to hear and enjoy. This was not a seniors or oldies but goodies dance.
In other words, you were not hired nor paid for this. You were .. a boombox. This wasn't an 'event'.

So lets see at this event. You had yourself playing those golden oldies with one speaker. Your partner talking to people about other cheap events and doing nothing else. His GF selling cheap jewelry next to you. Plus a guy who is looking for a sucker, I mean a cheap DJ to do a long ass gig in the summer in the park. This sounds like the social event of the year. Again HOW MUCH WERE YOU PIAD FOR THIS "GIG"

First off I didn't say where the event was to take place and it won't be a cheap azz DJ doing it I decided to do it. He will have a great DJ doing the event. Now my partners GF had the day off because of the holiday. So they had her come back there. I was asked to provide music. Not a problem for me. Like I said I had fun.

You already know that this was another free
event that was crashed & didn't really need a DJ or they would have contracted one.
