Not looking good for GC. I'd heard for years that they were leveraged out too far. Looks like the pandemic just may be their death knell.

They will Survive. Biggest Guitar Retailer in the country. Guitar Sales and other instrument sales BOOMED in April/May/June. The problem is once they sold out of product they couldn't get more of it in to sell.

They will likely have to close down 20% to 40% of their locations depending on how in debt they are. They will restructure, and be okay for a few more years until they are in trouble again.

Right now times are tough. Bob mentioned the price of gear going up substantially and not a lot of work for many of us. So no buying new gear with money being tight and working sparingly. So things are up in the air right now. Hopefully things will turn around soon or more store closings and more DJs leaving this business. It's a matter of waiting to see what will happen in the future.

I can be honest and say at times it's depressing not working consistently. Especially in my case coming off of major surgery and just getting back to work. With things picking up and getting hit with this major blow. Leaving jobs far and few between.

And yet you bought a new facade, a backup controller and a few lights this year .. so sales still happen ...

Let me say I bought the facade before we were forced into this plandemic. I had that at the last event I did in February. I have bought a few items since then. Just preparing when this situation eases up. I'm not in panic mode. I haven't been there when this thing first dropped. So no need to go there now.
