I got to events to do back to back. February 14th and 15th. I got to remember to bring a pen and notebook with me so when someone ask me for a song I don't have on my HD I can write it down so I can get it and have it just in case I need it again. That way I don't have to look it up on my tablet to play it.
 
you could just put it in your phone and set a reminder for feb 12th or 13th to pick one up... and then another on feb 14th to actually pack it with you. Or you could take the requests in your phone should you forget it the notepad... your phone does have a notes app.

surprised you needed to post this... are you using this forum for your own personal reminders now?

If you use Virtual DJ, there's an option to have unsuccessful searches saved automatically, so you can refer to it later for exactly this reason. In the browser options, look for this:

logUnsuccessfulSearchesAutomatically

For me I use VDJ 8 on my main laptop and 7 on my backup laptop. I don't do a lot of fancy tricks with VDJ so for me not a big deal. I can say I hate the effects on VDJ. They are corny to me.

P.S. VDJ7 has a "Logthissearch" feature but it must be selected/clicked on with every "unsuccessful search" and I was hoping for a more automatic option.

P.S.S. I plan to upgrade to the most current version of VDJ as soon as I finalize my next laptop acquisition.

Wow, I didn’t know that but I shouldn’t be surprised though. They have so many features that of been added to the VDJ over the years. I downloaded the manual for VDJ 8 but haven't fully went thru it because there is do much there. VDJ 8 rock solid, no issues with it on my Windows 7 and Windows 8. Machines. I am using for video and its really really hard to crash it, I try hard before putting it in the field. The last crash I saw with VDJ was on a Vista laptop and was due to some really old large VOD files.

Thanks John, so glad you shared that critical information with all of us.
Don't forget to post again AFTER the gig and let us know if you needed to stop for gas,
in case you drive somewhere else and need to get gas again in the future.

Absolutely.

And remember to remind us to remember to not get drunk and/or have sex with the brides maids...that's always a tough one to remember.

Definitely Mike, I will keep everyone one posted but only after I drop off my 3 partners and the woman. I'll probably get some gas on the parkway but then I might bump into one of my friends that said how good I did and then I will have to take down some information for the next gig because they want my speakers but not me, because I mix them up and then I.. oh. I will start a new post for that.
