Wondering if there are any google experts here, or perhaps just raising a subject for discussion.

On the new search console (webmaster tools), you have a "URL Inspection", which is used to submit individual pages for indexing. On my main site, rickryan.com, I've always just submitted the home page and expected Google to find the rest. On our newer page, ryanschapel.com, I've been submitting each page individually. On the old site, I've never gotten above position #33. On the new site, I'm already sitting at #15. Now granted, different keywords, different markets but still, seems fishy to me. Is there anybody here that has some insight into it?

Nope. However, My site is placing #1 on Google for "Dundalk Wedding DJ" with the reviews.

I believe the Google Reviews are KEY right now.

As your site ages the static pages fall in rank on most indexes.

I haven't updated my site in a few years, so the top 3 ranking I used to have for certain searches is long gone. But, on the occasions where I made a change to one of the pages - I immediately got responses for that particular service or product. The correlation is to predictable to be a coincidence so, I assume Google or some other site bumped me up in response to the que and subsequent re-index of the page.

Do many people Google "Dundalk Wedding DJ" over Baltimore Wedding DJ" ?

Probably more people do that than google "Oneonta Al wedding venues".
Just call it a Wedding and Livestock Judging Venue and you'll have leads coming out the wazoo ..
