I know in iTunes, if you right click on a song and select "Song Info", you can change most pieces of the tag info.
I don't know .. never tried. It will change the tag info. I use KJ File Manager, which allows me to fix filenames and such. It's mainly geared for karaoke files, but does a great job of fixing the track - name - album stuff.Steve, I always use mp3 tag for that, but will it allow me to change the file name there?
It absolutely will - I do it frequently. Select the files you want to work on. From the File menu, select Convert, Tag-Filename (Alt+1), put the fields in the order you want the file named, click Ok .. done.Steve, I always use mp3 tag for that, but will it allow me to change the file name there?
Can you play those files with any kind of player software like Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic?Grrr.....A few tracks I bought I cannot convert. It says the selected file cannot be found - even though I BOUGHT it.
If you bought it in iTunes, then it's listed right there. As long as it's downloaded to your library, you can fully convert it. If you bought it - and then moved it through Windows Explorer, then the error is right - the file cannot be found (because you moved it).Grrr.....A few tracks I bought I cannot convert.
