I think it's more like 3-5 years. High traffic areas are done more frequently.

I suppose if Google maps showed cow crossings ...
When I was a kid, we had cows in that pasture. I remember, several times when they'd get out and we'd be trying to get them out of the road before they got hit. Man, if we'd only thought about putting up a sign.................

Did he ask for NO green M&Ms?
No, a studio-owner friend of mine told me one of his friends was an audio engineer on a tour and Linda's singing was so awful that he recorded her mix to tape one night. After doing it, he got to feeling guilty and fessed up to Sir Paul. Paul got pissed and had the entire production company fired on the spot and replaced with a new company the next night. I believe the guy kept the tape. Not sure if it ever got circulated or not.

Unfortunately, Google does not accept requests for Streetview imagery updates. You can look at creating your own 360-degree images and publishing them to the map if you like.

You can submit images to Google Maps: https://support.google.com/maps/answer/2622947?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform=Desktop

How to create 360 photos: https://support.google.com/maps/answer/7012050?vid=0-386811035559-1500733746417
Interesting. I never even thought about it. Not really worried either way. For some reason, I thought the imagery was being re-shot every 6-8 months (like in a grid fashion). Seems odd that they would only scan the more populous areas more often.

I would assume that the satellite(s) maintain a standard, consistent orbit, which would lead me to believe that images happen across the globe on an evenly-spaced basis. I can't see any reason why Chicago would be scanned any more often than Bumfu......er, Oneonta is.

Hey @rickryan.com I thought about you yesterday as I was driving home from the beach. We come up I-75 all through Alabama on our way back to KY. Have you seen the "party place" or the "party palace" there on the southbound side of 75 not far from the state line that has the huge 3 tier wedding cake outside of it along the fence?

I think you mean I-65, up near Huntsville, don't you. Yea, that cake and their signage screams cornball.
