Man, I'd appreciate that, Jeff. Are you willing and able to send them in a zip file the way Cap did? That worked really slick.

I almost forgot about this they have been on my desktop for a week. Do you have a Dropbox or somewhere I can send them?

EDIT: I just discovered my daughters Google Drive acct here's the link. Enjoy

I haven't been asked to play a polka since 1986.

I'd be surprised if anyone under the age of 35 can correctly spell "polka."

My pleasure

While I agree with your take on spelling there are still a few Polka hotbeds apparently according to this board. I suspect anywhere with a large Polish/German community would have grown up with it at family functions

Here the Polka has pretty much been replaced with more modern Celtic music

I play Polkas almost every week. The local college here, the marching band plays at polka at the start of every football game as the schools unofficial "fight song", I've seen 12 year olds that can not only spell Polka but can actually polka.
Just so you know and don't assume, m'kay

Hey, just wanted to thank everyone for their input on song suggestions and donating some songs on this thread. The Oktoberfest was this past weekend and went really well. I'll put up a gig log soon.

LOVE IT !!!!!! Thank you. Added to my video drive as a prime choice for a German-style polka.

2nd that. My son is always threatening to put on polka in order to end an event early (he's kidding of course). He's gonna crack up when he hears this.

Here in Ohio, polka's are still relevant. It's not uncommon to play one or two. We just did a wedding in October at a brewery and played some German um pa polka
