Can anyone here recommend a good BPM analyzer software? I'm trying the MixMeister version, and (sorry Rick) since I don't BPM all tracks, I can't use RockIt's built-in program.

Rick, can RockIt analyze a portion of a library instead of ALL tracks?

I don't BPM ballads as it makes it a little easier to sort them if they're in a waitlist.

I tried the MixMeister BPM analyzer and it worked great.

Only problem is when I went to update the tags in RockIt's library, all the BPM's went to ZERO.

So that won't work.

Is that exe file the same one that is included inside the actual RockIt software?

Mixmeister is a single step process - push the run button and it both scans and updates the tag. Rick's is 2 steps - push the scan button and it scans, you then need to press the save button. (I also use the "put dots in tag" option otherwise you get the bpm in thousandths.)

you can have Rockit scan sub folders by checking the appropriate button. If I am mistaken sue me lol.

Got it! The BPM program on Rick's website is a stand alone program and works just fine with RockIt! Just gotta update the tags and YES it will scan by folder or even ONE track.

We're done here..see the door? Use it!

Thanks to all...
