My wife and I rib each other all the time. For instance, I always make fun of her addiction to serving platters. She seems to have one for every holiday and occasion. I wouldn't be surprised if she had one for Groundhog's Day. In return, she ribs me about buying tools. If I ever say I can't do something, she says, "you mean you don't have a tool for that?" Lately though I have been buying more cables and adapters than tools. Tonight she made a comment about another order I just made and said my adapters "were spreading like herpes." Perhaps she is right, it seems impossible for me to get rid of adapters.

So... What does your significant other have to say about your gear addiction?

My wife has never had an issue with my gear purchases . Her concern is with my firearm and ammo purchases. 😃
You bought another gun!!?? You know you have ammo on the dining room table!!??

Mine is my "hobbies". she rags me so much, even when friends come over, they'll say "what's your hobby this month"? LOL. Some of my hobbies over the years have included: computers, Bonsai, rc planes, rc helicopters, rc cars, hunting, shooting, reloading, off-road motorcycles, on-road motorcycles, dual sport motorcycles, photography, videography, welding, reptiles, bee keeping, wood-working, scratch building rc planes, ps4 gaming, and backpacking, just to name a few... lol. Unfortunately, when I decide on something I want to try, I go all in on it. Lots of research, then fully commit. DJ'ing is in there as well... but it's my first hobby that actually is starting to pay for itself a little... which is a first for me. LOL

My wife never complains when I buy..She does pick at me a little in a funny way. She does complain about the space it takes up

Really the only thing my wife could have an issue with is the amount of computers we have in the house. I’m at 5 laptops and a bunch of desktops And looking to purchase another gaming laptop because the new 12th Gen came out, I see her eyes rolling. But she works from home now with multiple laptops and my son’s a Computer engineering student. What are you expect.
The one that has a buying issue is my daughter. How would you feel if you come home and see a canoe, sorry I mean kayak in your living room? And that’s two weeks after she just bought an inflatable one. I’m just thinking now I’m going to go away for a week come back and there is going to be a freaking horse or something in the backyard.
