Isn’t that interesting. I think I’ll get one and see what it can do. Could be a fun toy, but you never know if it could be something more.😊

$15 including shipping (if you're a Prime member)

LOL... Why didn’t you post that sooner!!!😂... GEEZ... I should have searched Amazon myself, but the order is already placed. No big deal. I’ve been making an effort to buy from sources other than Amazon anyway. I have my reasons.😊 Sometimes it’s not just about the lowest price.

If I knew someone was going to bite, I would have done more due diligence .. :)

Deckadance? I thought the whole purpose of Stanton/Gibson buying that was to allow it to die a slow death!
Seriously, almost zero current/modern controller support - except for that mouse!!

WOW... At that price they’re practically giving it away. Besides the better price and free shipping, if I had bought mine from Amazon, there’s a good possibility I could have been able to play with it today (being a Prime member). B&H will probably ship today, but I won’t likely see it before next Tuesday. I know how anxious everyone is to read my review.😂

Could always buy from Amazon and return the other ...

I'm just going to wait and take Steve's. ;)

I don't know - seems you're going through a lot of pain just to add a jog wheel. Plus, this thing is not wireless.
However, I shall wait for your highly knowledgeable, unbiased opinion, before passing final judgement.
Dang, got you confused with Steve for a second - sorry about that!

My DJ-Tech DJ mouse/controller thingy that I bought from B&H Photo is being shipped direct from the Manufacturer.😖 Got an email message from B&H, but of course no tracking and no expected ship or delivery dates. Message says shipment usually occurs in 1-3 business days, depending on availability. I don’t even know where the manufacturer is; China perhaps???... If so, I might be waiting a while.

How about that???... My DJ Mouse thingy was just delivered.😊...

... I haven’t opened it up or tried it out yet. I had just put my laptop away after helping a guy on another forum with a PC/Traktor and YouTube issue, and I don’t feel like getting it back out again right now. I might do it tomorrow when the wife isn’t home.😊

... I like the front of the box... “Control your MP3’s”... as if they’re somehow OUT OF CONTROL!!!😂

OK... I opened up the box, and inside was the DJ Mouse, a software disc, and a mouse pad... Nowhere to be found in the box was the promised “Computer DJ”...

Well, I hooked the DJ Mouse up to my laptop. This is the same laptop I use as a backup system, with Traktor DJ 2 software, and a Traktor Audio 2 DJ sound card. Of course this DJ Mouse will use the Deckadance software, but I can still use the Traktor Audio 2 DJ sound card with it.

...So I installed Deckadance from the CD; no problem. I also copied the Instruction PDF to my computer. It’s a good thing too, because the print size on the little pamphlet in the box is SO small that it’s virtually unreadable. The setup process was uneventful. There are a couple of “Demo” apps I chose not to install. A version of ASIO4All is installed automatically.

I have not setup the Deckadance software yet. The UI is not great, but it’s not unusable either. I haven’t found any skin options yet. I’ll spend more time on the setup and post about it at a later date, after I’ve had the time to read the manual. There are not many setup options, so it should not take long.

The mouse itself is not bad. It feels a little small compared to my Logitech wireless mouse, but it doesn’t feel flimsy. The buttons feel pretty good. The Blue LED’s surrounding the center wheel and the scroll wheel are fine. I’m not crazy about it being a wired mouse, but I’m sure I could deal with it. The Red Led on the Scratch botton, though, is TOO BRIGHT for my liking. The bottons and scroll wheels work good though. They control the sliders and buttons on the Deckadance screen just fine. There’s only two buttons and two wheels on this mouse, so they each have several functions they can perform. It’s gonna take me some time to commit the options to memory.

Next steps are to read the manual, setup Deckadance, and to play some music through it. I’ll report more next time.😊
