I was on the website of Northern Sound and Light in McKess Rocks,Pa. and it looks like they no longer carry FBT Powered Speakers..I wonder why?

Just Speculating, after checking other Gear Store websites,I guess there might have been a massive Price increase on FBT Products..The street price now seems to be around $899. for the 4A's...I guess I got a great deal a couple of years ago..about $509. for the 2A's and $636. for the 4A's from Northern Sound and Light..Could be they figured they would be hard to sell at a higher price and dropped them..Again,This is all Speculation.

Who knows.

My local dealer , Marshall Music, stopped carrying Gibson guitars because Gibson now requires all thier dealers to carry an unreal amount of inventory. Not a problem when you're GC. Marshall Music isn't a little mom & pop's store, but a rather large local chain. I can't imagine how much the amount really is.

This may or may not be the reason, but I bet it is:

I was at the Atlantic City show in August, and the FBT rep told me that they were very unhappy with NS & L because they were dicounting the speakers too much. Take it FWIW.

I guess the lucky ones are those who already own FBT's Heavily Discounted from NS and L. As much as I would like the RCF Art 322A,I would not be able to lift it onto a stand. I can the FBT MaxX 4A.

It is interesting seeing old threads from 16 years ago though! $899 for a powered speaker in 2006 certainly wasn't cheap by any means! It's cool that we still have these threads saved to even revive!

I will add another question - "WHERE HAS MAESTRO (Steven) BEEN FOR ALL THESE YEARS?" I would like to hear his tales of deejaying up in Vancouver over the last few years.

Howdy all, doing great thanks, hope you all are too! Yes, I've been busy as a City Councillor (Alderman) from Nov 2018 until Nov 2022 but don't worry, I've also been deejaying. I did take a run for Mayor as Jeff mentioned but due to my opponent not playing by the rules and lying (go figure) and a major fake news campaign mailout to every door, my opponent managed to get more votes than me. She is a career politician and I am not. I have a defamation case in the work against one of her supporters, the one responsible for the mailout.

On the bright side, it is allowing me more time to focus on my music and I actually have my first song being released on the 27th, next Friday! I wish Jon Tuck was here to see that I finally did it! (RIP buddy.) I'd appreciate any pre-saves on Spotify, that'd be cool. If you use another streaming platform, it will be available on all of them as of 10 AM on the 27th. A little history on the track... I wrote it in the 80s (Yup!) and used to sing it myself but since it is about a teenage girl, my son Cooper took over lead vocals. He also plays lead and rhythm guitars on the track. He is amazing on guitar! I am on bass, synth and backing vocals. I hope you like it! And if you do, please feel free to share away and add to your own playlists, that would really help me out! :headbang:
