Incredible voice, incredible song (thanks Paul), and incredible performance. I’m kinda surprised you selected Art Garfunkel though... didn’t think our tastes were so similar.[emoji1] I haven’t decided who to choose yet, but Art was certainly one of the options.[emoji4]
Some voices you can just listen to.

There have been so many great male singers... Sinatra, of course, but SO many others. One who got me through the 70’s was James Taylor, and here he is with my favorite female singer...

... then there was John Denver...

... the man could sing, and like James Taylor, he could duplicate his recordings when performing live, so he needed no studio tricks to sound great. I remember the first time I heard a John Denver song, I was driving from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami on US 1 when “Take Me Home Country Roads” came on the radio. I had to pull off the road to listen.

I thought about Sam Cook, Marvin Gaye, Freddy Mercury or maybe more recently Michael Bublé, But my final choice is George Michael...

No one favorite. More like a few favorites of different genres. Nat King Cole is my favorite crooner. Steve Marriot is my favorite male Rock singer. George Strait is probably my fav Country singer.

Choosing a favorite male vocalist is NOT easy. There are too many great ones from which to choose. My favorite kinda depends on who I’m listening to currently. My wife and I are listening to this LONG playlist of songs; most of which were written by the vocalist. With more than 45 years as a vocalist and musician, this guy has a tremendous catalog, and we have not found a single DUD that needed to be removed from the playlist. So I’m gonna change my choice... TODAY.[emoji1]

NOW my choice is Paul Carrack...

... The above track is my wife’s favorite, but there are SO MANY great tracks he sings and WROTE. He may be the best vocalist whose name is not widely known, probably because he was a member of bands that didn’t bear his name... Ace, Squeeze, Mike & The Mechanics. However, he produced many great solo albums in addition to playing on tracks and writing songs for other more well known artists...

... made famous by The Eagles, but written by Paul Carrack.

... Recorded originally by Ace in 1974.

... Written by Bruce Springsteen, but Paul Carrack’s vocals are gorgeous.
