So I've had my EV EKX-15Ps for almost two years now. Well one of the woofers seemed to have stopped working. I called EV and confirmed that they were still under warranty (until August 2019). They sent me a prepaid shipping label and the top was headed off to Nebraska. 10 days later it was returned and arrived on my front porch with a new woofer installed.
Needless to say I'm pretty impressed with the customer service and lightning fast turnaround. The 10 days including the transit time to and from. Plus not having to pay a dime was very convenient!
 
Did they give any reason why they think it failed? With DSPs and limiting, it's hard to see them fail by use .. usually it would be a mechanical failure.
 
One of the reasons I went back to EV from Bose. Bose CS was amazing but I just needed a bit more sound and EV provides that. Not to mention, the customer service is top notch!

They did not. Just documented that it was replaced. When I received the shipment it was not in the same box I sent it in. Once inside, the speaker was in an original EV product box just like what a new one comes so. So I first thought maybe they just replaced the whole thing and sent me a new one. But I compared serial numbers and realized it was my original top.
 
Hopefully it was a fluke and not a systemic issue.
