+1 on that. I reviewed the Pro32 + Sub 2 for a magazine here in the UK and was blown away. I have the Pro8's now.. I used them at a gig some weeks ago alongside an FBT 118SA subwoofer and blew the marquee lid off! Thing is, the FBT is not particularly elegant to carry around, great for proms and 16/18yr parties but it's way too boisterous. I'm now looking at using the Pro8's with a Sub 1, that should sound nice... in theory.

I'd recommend a pro16 over a pro8 with a sub.

sadly I have no more $$$ for a pro16. The Pro8's afforded me the most flexibility with various setups. I do a lot of ceremony sound and also work in a lot of venues with sound limiters so the Pro8's work really well in all of these scenarios. I generally buy in pairs so had I gone down the road of a 16 then I'd have to buy 2.
