They always say they are looking into people the sick person has been in contact with.
I always wondered how a DJ (or in this case, KJ) would respond to that question.

I did a short gig before a school musical last month.
A few hundred people, for five performances.
Not sure where they would even START to look for contacts.

Well, DJ Events are cancelled from here on out through the end of April in at least 37 states as of yesterday. IT should be all 50 after this weekend. ...THen in a few ore weeks we will realize that DJ events are going to be cancelled for a more extended period of time. Maybe until Memorial Day weekend...Maybe until Mid June, Late June, end of July...Who knows!

This does beg the question going forward of how you will handle events that require mics to be used by guests.
You will probably have to have extra mics on hand and not share between guests any longer.
Wiping down the mic won't help unless you are willing to remove the capsule and clean under the screen (and risk damaging the element) and you won't have time to be doing that at events anyways.

On the other side of the coin, guests probably will no longer want to share a mic with anyone else anyways so for that reason alone you will probably need to carry extras to every gig and put them into "self isolation" after each use, LoL!

My guess is in 3 months, 99% of people will forget everything they were told not to do ...
