At the suggestion of @steve149 it's now clearer which forums are public and private. Each forum's description is prefixed with [PUBLIC] or [PRIVATE]. In addition all private boards have a ^ (carat) after their title and public boards have an * (asterisk). There is also a legend at the bottom of the forum listing (it needs work style wise I know). "DJs by Event Type" is now "Event Type Discussion" all the sub forums that were previously under this board have been merged and turned into thread prefixes. Prefixes are essentially tags before the title of a thread. You can view only Weddings or only School & Teen dances by simply clicking on the prefix when viewing the forum. This was done to simplify management of many low traffic forums. Here's a quick screenshot to illustrate:
You will need to select a prefix on all thread you create in this forum. It defaults to weddings as they're most popular. You select a prefix by clicking the drop down menu. Here's another screenshot to 'splain.
We're just getting the house in order here. There will be some exciting changes in coming months. We need a solid base to make those changes. Any questions or concerns let me know.
