If it could do all of that at $1000 or $1500, it would be a waste of money for your business?
I don't need controller that does it all. I'm happy with what I have. Tempo bending is the most important option for me. I have met 3 Djs that own DDJ-SZ this year. 3 of them said is not worth it.

I want controller that can sit on my laptop stand and support 2 different laptops. Lately I will play videos with VDJ and mp3 with Traktor. I'm forced to use my old lappy to play mp3's with echo sound card. Works ok but I start feeling like a dinosaur....LOL

I had the pleasure of going to GC and see one in action. I was upset that I couldn't figure out a way to get it out of the store without them seeing me remove it since I didn't have the money to buy it. That should tell you my thoughts on that controller.

If your computer breaks down, you can use your pre-formatted USB drives. That's pretty much like the DN-HD2500 if you think about it without the hard drive being built in. I have the Pioneer DDJ-SZ and DDJ-SX, but the USB feature and the XLR booth outputs are VERY attractive to me. Too bad that I don't have the budget to buy a new controller yet.
That's where you are supposed to have a backup laptop with you just in case.

For those DJs that also do club gigs (especially when the club uses Pioneer CDJs), it's also a plus to be able to practice on decks with just a USB stick with the song files.

For me, there are times when I just want to bust out the turntables and actually bring out the crates. Plug the turntables into the MCX8000, and you are ready to go-- since the MCX8000 is also a standalone mixer. Add the computer and control vinyl, and you can also have Serato on decks 3-4.

The MCX8000 is an attractive piece of kit. If I didn't have the DDJ-SZ, then I would consider this. The only gripe I have against it is the mirrored layout, but overall, this was a well-thought out unit.

I'm still holding out on an improved version of the SC3900 spinning platter-- one that doesn't need an extra USB cable per deck to use with Serato, and has useable color touchscreens for non-DVS/USB use!
