WOW. I have been a big Daft Punk Fan. Big enough that I love their music, but I don't know all of their songs...Mainly just into their hits. My Regret is that I never saw them live.

I was actually listening to "Around the World" earlier today while delivering for Amazon.

Really bummed about this news. It was already so rare that they put out music or toured, but I always kind of felt that we'd get another great album from them at some point. They gave a lot to music and EDM in particular.

Maybe they'll go "unadorned" this time around .. like KISS did at one point ..

Not super-early, since masked bands have been around since 1969 (The Residents) .. and it seems to be a EDM and Heavy Metal thing (Slipknot, Marshmello, Deadmau5) .. hell, while not technically masks, I mentioned KISS above, many a Glam band wore enough makeup and costumes to be in the same league.

Acknowledging your confusion, I'll state, unequivocally, that, regarding things Dramcho and or Daft (How appropriate) Punks, I have no direct first hand/technical knowledge and, more emphatically, I DO NOT care in the slightest.

Rec'd a medley of Daft Punk ish, titled Daft Punk Tour de Music Megamix (MUKA Mix) and just finished listening to it.

The medley included Da Funk, Musique, Around the World, Face to Face, Get Lucky, Mothership Reconnection Scott Grooves ft Parliament Funkadelic, Revolution 909, One More Time, The Music Sounds Better With You (Stardust), Harder Better Faster Stronger, Technologic & Burnin’.

Interesting and it brought back some more clubby memories from the late 90s/early 2ks.

I hope, if they "re-form", that they avoid the electonica noize they devolved into and reutrn to those funkier roots.
