New to the forum and happy to be aboard! I have my first Daddy Daughter dance, and it's formal at a country club. They're not looking to have activities (so no filling time with that), just dinner and dancing, 3-3.5 hrs, ages 4-12. I'm at a loss as to what to play during sit down dinner, and aside from the usual dad/daughter dance songs (My girl, Butterfly Kisses) and some Kids Bop what suggestions do you have? TIA!

I don’t do kids events, but for that age group, and for little girls, I’d start with a list of danceable Disney songs, then mix in some current Pop music and some 80’s-90’s Pop for the Dads. There’s a playlist of over an hour of Disney Dance Party music on Apple Music. Good luck.

Songs that are in kid's movies are good:

Justin Timberlake - "Can't Stop the Feeling"
Pharrell Williams - "Happy"
Monkees/Smash Mouth - "I'm a Believer"
Smash Mouth - "Allstar"

Then ..

Village People - "YMCA"
"Cotton Eyed Joe"

Here's a Spotify playlist with others:
