Ok. I have a wedding I have custom gobo's made for this Saturday.

I put them in the gobo projectors and the are just slightly too small.

I'm using Chauvet SX Gobo Projectors.

Is there something I can use to help them stay in place? They fit in the gobo's place just one in a while they slip a little if I have rotation on.

Is the silicone or something I can use that wont melt and I simply can peal away when I'm done?

Might be able to find some hi-temp tape at an autoparts store, or maybe some of the aluminun tape, but I would test it some whatever you use before setting up at the wedding.

Cam,

I don't know what bulb you are using but my 150 watt Gobo projectors will cook aluminum foil, so i don't think any tape or goop is going to work.

How much too small are they?

Are they glass or brass?

You may have to look at using some sort of metal shim material to wedge them in place.

If they are brass and are fairly close in tolerance you maybe able to and add some solder around several places on the edges to increase the size this can easily be sanded down for a perfect fit!

The "goop" I'm referring to is used on auto engines. I think they get pretty hot. :sqlaugh:

Kevin,

I agree with you it should work but until you accually try it and get to smell the stench coming from it I think it will become a different story.

I have tried several things and come up with problems in almost every case. The only solution that I found was shimming with brass or steel or the solder fix. Even aluminum foil cooked out of my projectors! And regular solder doesn't work either it has to be silver solder.
