So ive been tempted recently to take a t-bar put my 4 wash fx on it...wire it perfectly ...zip tie...etc... make it purty... then purchase or build some sort of custom flight case...or bag that could transport it safely and easily from gig to gig... basically throw it on top of a tripod and raise it... plug it into a longer extension cord and BOOM...DONE!

im pretty terrible at DIY ...do u guys know of any custom shops that do these sort of cases?

Bag would be easier .. most of the custom speaker cover makers (like Tuki or Connie Tom) can make one.

If you're using flat pars consider a keyboard case. That's what I use.

need it for 4 WashFx on a T-bar... not sure that would work..

Will this hold it? I have a few of these bags and they're quite sturdy.

Thats around 50'' long...and i need 54'' minimum ... Gator makes a bag that might fit it...but itd be tight... im hoping my plan works with this other bag...if not ive only got 60 or so bucks in it

i actually own that one for my lighting tripod...really nice bag.... i might try and see if the lights fit... i was hoping to have the headroom to foam it out real nice... im trying to leave all the dmx cables plugged in ...hoping a nice foam enclosure will keep them from breaking off and ruining the light fixture... not sure how tough those inputs are...dont want to test them...lol

UHaul has some golf club shipping/moving boxes that might do in a pinch .. they're 15x15 but only 48 Long. If the bags don't fit, might get one (I think they are $6 and add a collar to lengthen it.

as much as im not fan of this green bag in a sea of my black bags....im even less inclined to carry a cardboard box into a gig... i see that from time to time in gig logs and just roll my eyes...lol... i used to carry a mirror ball to gigs in its original box many years ago...and cringed at myself...lol...i see they have really cool bags for mirror balls now...too little too late

That was just the 1st one I found .. search Golf Travel Case and there are hundreds of types.

Also, there are custom box manufactures like TuffBox ..

My case is made for a 61 key keyboard and it was a few inches short for the T-bar. So I just sawed a few inches off of it (the T-bar) and it works fine. Although the depth won't handle much more than an uplight type of flat par.

I also have an Arriba soft case that designed for par 38s on a bar. It has wheels but It's really flimsy and awkward. Not much in the way of protection.
