I recently purchased a broken American Audio VMS2 controller. I'm comfortable with electronics, but even so, upon taking it apart the problem was almost immediately self evident.
Broken VMS2

While I'm waiting for the IC chip to arrive, I thought I'd see if I could obtain the schematic, in case I need to do additional troubleshooting. Within one hour of emailing their support, a Mr. Kevin Picard sent me pdf's of all the schematics, and a link for parts, which essentially has everything except the controllers sheet metal case!

IMHO, this is truly exceptional service and support - Kudos to ADJ/American Audio!!

I still have my American Audio VMS 4.1 that I used for 3 years (before getting the Denon MC6000 MK2s). I really loved that controller, and it’s hard to think about selling it, though I eventually will. I hope you can get your VMS2 repaired and enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed mine. [emoji4]
