OK really ran my Cortex HDC 1000 through it's paces today. Did a fiund raiser at a high school for the football booster club. It was an outdoor event and thought I would give it a shot solo.
3 hours of music and it worked flawlessly. The only problems were operator error. Accidentally was cueing up a song on the same side as I was playing. My bad (I was using a keyboard, which was a great help). Did not move to the correct side.
Now I do use Rockit on my dell and am very used to the visual of searching for songs, but did do well when I got more comfortable. Did realize how much I like using the fader and stuff. I do believe this is a good unit when needed to be used and now feel that with the playlist creator it could easily be used as a primary unit.
My 2 cents.
