The other day we were talking about this and as I'm going through my old LP's and singles to see what I don't have on CD's and convert them to WAV files I came upon these two (There's a ton more of these) single's that I got at some old used and new record store in the early 80's when I started buying these.

The one with the blue label (Dion - The Wanderer) states that any public performance, reproduction or transmission through radio or TV is prohibited).

The one with the red label (The Blue Diamonds - All of Me) states that any public performance rights (Licensing including radio or TV) is covered by the purchase price. Both of these records were sold during the early 60's.

Copyright rules changes over the years - what was used isnt anymore

some (a lot) have been updated

so I wouldnt worry about old stock you have its all still covered today

I know, I'm not worried, but since you had not seen one Down Under ;) it hit me while going through them. It was a simpler time. I still do whatever I want with my music, except giving it away or selling copies of it. I paid for my stuff, somebody else wants it they better buy it because they're not getting it from me :D:D:D:D:D

I've got some discs labeled not for commercial use unless played at full volume. :sqerr:
