I've only seen great feedback about the ADJ MyDMX Go but i wanted to ask if anyone on here has used one to control moving lighting / full on event lighting setups with 8+ lighting fixtures ? What would be good to know is what is DOES NOT offer and does not do.... i can see what its meant to offer but the little finer details that would be handy to know like does it crash / had any units fail. I use a ChamSys MQ60 at the moment for events but this is way to big for 90% of the parties we do & we could sell it & buy 2 of these plus have change lol so any & all feedback would help :)

I've had bad luck with it at home...not gona try it live at an event till i'm sure it's reliable.

Many of my lights are NOT in the program, so I have to manually program them and it's a lot of trial and error.

I have it all connect, setup up a sequence we'll call it, and wow, nice. turn it all off, on again and well, it's not working like it just did. WTF?

I have wi-fi upllighting arriving today and will try it to operate them. I have 4 movers and would like to use it with them.

Mabe if I stick to the BASICS - it will work? Later this week i'll be experimenting, i'll report back in detail - maybe my issues will self-resolve?

I've not used the wifi directly, I have the mydmxgo hooked into my wireless setup that controls the lights and use a fire tablet for control.

Ummm i've read others have had the same problem when using them on a WiFi hotspot but they send out there own WiFi not dont they.... :? When you do try again any new finding would be very helpful :)

Some of us have had no or very little issues.

I might recommend the Facebook group entitled MyDMXgo OFFICIAL SUPPORT GROUP if you want to see the negatives.... however...i have been a proponent of it from the very begining... i bought one of the very first units released and it has worked flawlessly...

I will say this.... ONLY USE THIS UNIT WITH MOVING HEADS....PARS...AND UPLIGHTS....

If you have lasers...derbies...kintas.... stingers....etc etc etc...It would be far easier to use any of the other products.

I've had good and bad luck with it. Yes it has dropped connection some. However, I have since changed the wifi channel and bought a new antenna for it, so Im anxious to try it out on my next event. we shall see.
