Cold spark dust

Taso you said something that got to me. You said some might be using a knock off brand that might cause a problem with a floor. What brand do you use and what is a knock off brand?

My thing would be simple. Take me to court for this and prove to a judge that the damage was caused by us and it warrants them getting paid 12k.
How much do you want to pay an attorney to represent you??
Fat chance of you being sued Mixxy. Not hard to look up peoples net worth before wasting their time & effort.

Showven and sparktacular are the two known and recognized brands. Anything else is virtually considered a knock off

I bought the JMaz units and had them out for the first time last night:

I didn't want to buy straight off Alibaba from a retailer that doesn't have a presence in the US. But I was comfortable enough with JMaz.
I'm familiar with the Jmaz units... their similar to the Blitzz (by pro x), and honestly I can't say anything negative about them. I only switched to the Sparkatcular for 3 reasons.

1. As I saw the rise in popularity in my area, I also saw more high end venues demanding proof of training certificate and/or proof that the units have the field tested label, and/or a monitoring system. Some of the same venues have softened up on these requirements over the years, although venues that require a fire marshall permit, still are strict about this. This varies based on locality, so you might never experience this (for example I only know of 3 municipalities in jersey that have the fire marshalls issuing permits).

2. I really valued the monitoring system which checks for temperatures, time remaining on security card, and ability to control heights. The downside with the remote was that it didn't always work perfectly and sometimes not all units turned on. With the controller I get a perfect launch everytime.

3. The showven/sparktacular have different granules for different heights. Blitzz didn't have that at the time and only had granules shooting up to 10 or so ft. The granules I use can go as low as 6ft but as high as 17ft. I work in a lot of high ceiling venues, so this really adds to the appearance.

I think the Jmaz and Blitzz are great units to get to begin offering the Sparkler enhancement. Low cost, easy to use, and get the job done. On a side note... I have 2 blitzz units in case anyone is interested lol

This photo blurred in the low light, but this was the remnants from my cold spark machine last night. It was my second time using them indoors, but I fired them quite a bit more last night than I did previously.

With a lot of venues here you've got outside catering that is responsible for the cleaning. I didn't want to put that cleanup on them and took care of it personally. But I could see how a venue would be frustrated with this if they weren't expecting it.

Just for fun, two other photos of what we had going on last night...

We use the sparklers to frame the area where the aerialist was performing for a corporate event. I think every lighting fixture I own was on site.

Is that level of dust consistent with what you get from the Sparkulars as well? I was curious if mine had more dust since I didn't buy the Cadillac of cold sparks.
I would say the amount is consistent... mine is slightly more fine in granule size. But I don't know if that's because I'm using the granules that go up to 17' high, as opposed to the standard ones.
