Ok I do not know much about this side of my laptop, Is there any reason I would not want to clone my SSD?

My current SSD is too small and I just want to increase the size, no problems with my current SSD.

I use Acronis True Image .. you can clone and readjust the size to maximize the drive utilization.

There's some free options listed here: How to Clone a Hard Drive - (https://www.pcmag.com/feature/363387/how-to-clone-a-hard-drive/1)

I use a device like this to connect the new drive (mine has a different power supply but I bought it at Newegg) ... Tripp Lite USB 3.0 SuperSpeed to SATA/IDE Adapter 2.5/3.5/5.25" Hard Drives - Newegg.com - (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812329640&Description=usb%20sata%20cable%20power&cm_re=usb_sata_cable_power-_-12-329-640-_-Product)
