The Transmitters and Receivers are about $38-$45 each and the "Pack" (1 transmitter, 3 receivers, charging base) is around $200 or so ($195 at NSL).

About double the cost of the Donner/Lixada/etc. units .. we'll see if they work as well or better ... I really like that charging base that will hold up to 8 units. Run times are listed at 10-11 hours.

If Chauvet had come out with this 3 years ago, they would have sold a TON of units.

Now that the industry is on life support, and most DJs/Production companies have suspended purchases, and it is going to take a long time for things to bounce back this product may have a short/small production run. Might be a couple of years before it gets popular...if it ever does.

I'm curious if it's better connectivity than their D-Fi USB system. I use D-Fi which is built into all my freedom pars, and I use the SlimPar H6 USBs for dance floor wash lighting.

They work pretty well, but there is a bit of lag in the connection sometimes. But it's not a huge issue for me.

The USB sticks have VERY small antennas, there is MORE space in the XLR .. not sure if they took advantage of it. I have no issues with the Donners (or in my case Lixada) but I like that charging setup. I'm sure if I see a great price, I'll pick up some to play with them.

My experience with Chauvet battery operated stuff in that the REAL battery life is typically about 40% of what they spec.
