I gotta say...when i saw this released last year...i thought it was a terrible idea...and complete hot garbage....a cash grab by a company running out of ideas...

But recently ive seen it used in some videos... and i think i kinda like it...

In the proper atmosphere with the right crowd (teen to mid 20's...edm music cranked) and combined with a nice lightshow (moving heads/wash lights) it actually adds a lot to the overall atmosphere.

I used bubbles at the puppet theater...and the kids went bonkers for it every time...but i considered it something only a 4 year old would love... but the kids in the vids i saw were at first delighted...and popping them...and then sort of let them flow and do their own thing... floating over the crowd like space aged orbs...popping into puffs of haze.

i dont know...just felt i should post... ANYONE ELSE SEE ANY MERIT IN THESE?

I thought it was super cool when I saw it at DJ Expo. For something like your black light show... they'd be kind of dope. I wouldn't use it at a wedding... so for me it's not the right gear. But I don't think you're crazy, they're a fun effect.

Was thinking the same thing about the glow party.

Im also torn because of the slippery effect some bubble machines create...not sure if the warm haze helps with that or not...
