OK, Do most here leave your ceremony unit fully stocked at all times?

What mean is do you leave a wireless mic and mixer in the case all the times or do you rob peter to pay paul, by taking some of the equipment out and using it for other things?

I would like to have everything wired and ready to go at all times but, I'm having a hard time mounting a $600 to $700 mic in there.

My ceremony rig is standalone and pre-wired. It's in a hardshell DJ mixer case that Steve sold (gave) to me, yammy mg10 mixer and GTD 2-channel wireless. I use my extra K10 for speaker (single). The only thing that gets disassembled from it is the big, honkin, external antenna that I'm using on the bodypack channel (a cellphone antenna). I even keep an extra pack of batteries in that case, specifically for that rig. BTW, that Duracell battery/inverter runs that rig perfectly for times I need remote power. Here's a pic from a remote powered ceremony a few weeks ago.

I don’t do weddings, but I have two systems... one for medium sized events, and one for smaller events. Actually, there’s not so much difference anymore, but the Large System has a light controller, more speaker connections (Small System only has two), and handles more wireless microphones. In any case, both systems are fully equipped and wired, so nothing gets used anywhere else. The only exception being wireless microphones, which are interchangeable. I have 4 hand-helds and two lavs. I can use any two with my Small System, or any four with the Large System.

Pre-wired, pre-configured, sound processed, etc. all for ceremonies (up to 3 different mics).

I also use the Bose L1 Compact (generally wired), but I set up the mixer/processor equipment on a table with the mic receivers racked all in one case for ultimate control (AWAY from the speaker) and out of sight.

I then send another wireless signal from my mixer to a separate speaker on the other side of the aisle) if needed.

I used a compact for a long time for ceremonies, but have switched to mostly using an s1 pro.

Not pre-wired. I use the mics and s1 pros for other things.

But doesn't get much easier than iPad and 1 or 2 wireless mics with wireless recievers. No power needed

Battery powered wireless receivers? If you're running an ipad and multiple receivers, aren't you also running a mixer?

I have 2 QLXDs and a Shure antennae distro racked up for my ceremony system now. If I needed a third mic I'd have to pull it from my main rig or take on the SLX boxes that I use for wireless speakers. The SLX would be easier to snag by far.

I wanted to rack mount a mixer in there too... but the one I ordered I ended up not liking. So I still have to put my ceremony rig together each gig.

Hire DJ CH3CH2OH (pronounced cheech2Oh!) & MC Ethyl A to get your wedding ceremony "con-secrated"!
Is that an add on for the honeymoon as well?
