The bride & groom are the one's picking their songs, not me. This kind of compilation isn't of much consequence given the modern realities of music distribution.

Maybe... If you're just starting out and don't have 80% of those, sure, it would be worth it. If I had to give my top 40 songs played at a wedding, maybe 1 or 2 of those would be on there. I think you'd be better off doing an internet search for top 100 wedding songs. Look at a few different sites and put them all in a spreadsheet. Then do the same for top 100 dance songs. Top 100 party songs.... and whatever other sort of events you like. You'll see some songs show up on all lists. Some show up on several. The more they show up, the better off you'll be with having them. Find a place to buy those songs. I've bought a lot off of Amazon Music because that's easy for me. I also subscribed to a "DJ Pool" early on for a couple of months that allowed me to have unlimited downloads for $20 a month and I was able to keep what I downloaded. Some guys frown upon those, but hey, it's out there, and I personally believe in using whatever resources are available.

very true where you leave it to the bride and groom, but having some or all of these songs are incase they want to use them...
they can choose what they like but this is just a small suggestion on whats out there now even DMC have created a CD for wedding Djs (lol)
i'll try and find the track listing and show you all....

The thing to remember is...
these compilations are some ELSE'S idea of good wedding songs....
not your client's requests.
And most of the time, they only include songs they can get the rights to distribute.
Buy songs (legally) off the internet....
and make your own compilations.

- was looking again on ebay found this CD listing

DMC DJs Guide To Weddings Volume 4 Dancing With The Bridesmaids Double CD DJWED4
there are 5x in the collection from DMC it seems, tried to see more and a little light with the store of DMC it seems
has interesting track listings/mixes going to try hard to listen to some of it (if possible)
