Seen reviews on the cheaper behringers and people say avoidBehringer has a selection of decent mixers for the price.
Mix, until you can actually understand, implement and use the wealth of knowledge bestowed upon you, you are the least qualified to give advice here.My question first is how many channels do you need and go from there? I would suggest looking at a Yamaha mixing board. Let me also suggest not going to cheap with the price. You will want a quality unit that will last a long time and not have you quickly looking to get rid of it for something better.

Wrong sir. It's the mistakes I've made that I can give advice on this. I know as a newbie mistakes will be made. Such as buying an item thinking you're saving money buying a certain item because it cost less than another item. For example a salesman in GC tried to get me to buy the cheapest pair of Alto speakers they made. Now they do work. They are powered speakers that some will buy because of the price. Yet they are pure crap. Now if someone doesn't know any better they will buy them. Especially if that's all they can afford at that time. I had more money to spend and I bought the Yamaha DSR 115 speakers and have no regrets buying them. We still use them and I have no desire to get rid of them.Mix, until you can actually understand, implement and use the wealth of knowledge bestowed upon you, you are the least qualified to give advice here.
No .. you actually need to LEARN from those mistakes .. ALSO, you need to read. The OP was looking for a "DJ mixer", not a Yamaha live sound mixer ...Wrong sir. Now had I bought those Alto speakers I would have long ago sold them or they broke on me forcing me to trash them. A friend of mine has a pair. He also has a QSC speaker setup of tops and subs. He hasn't regretted buying the QSC speakers. One of the Alto speakers had to be repaired. My point is I learned over time what to stay away from and what to buy. Unless I need something in an emergency situation.
Neither does water and the bottom of speakers .. he didn't learn that either ..Over thirty years of your experience ,Ammonia & bleach don 't mix Mixy
What are talking about!? OK you got me there. Now some will say a mixer instead of saying mixing board. A mixer is what we use to use. Some call a controller a mixer. A controller has a mixer built in.Neither does water and the bottom of speakers .. he didn't learn that either ..
And a bucket has a hole in it.What are talking about!? OK you got me there. Now some will say a mixer instead of saying mixing board. A mixer is what we use to use. Some call a controller a mixer. A controller has a mixer built in.
