bride - father in law dance

Not sure about the music but we have done a few of these and the brides down here are calling them parent dances. And we have been using them to open the dance floor.

The way we have been working this is call out "One of the other special men in her life" then about 1/3 through the song we have been opening the dance floor to all fathers with there daughters there and all mothers with there sons at the wedding. (This is what the brides wanted to do by the way.)

The good part is after the dance you have a fairly full dance floor and you can open the dance floor and there is a nice little full dance floor for you.

Had a bride do the exact same thing a few weeks ago, she picked...My Girl by the Temptations.

Another bride danced with her Brother a week before that and she chose....Stand By Me by Ben E. King.


Again, their choices not ours.

IZ - What a Wonderful World...used this a couple of times in a situation like this.

AHAHAHAHAHA...I was going to recommend I Loved Her First as well, because if you read the original post, she is dancing with her father in law and I'm a sick SOB!
