I cannot imagine just using 1, even for smaller events, it would just scare me if something happened. I have used just one 32 and one Compact for fill, but always 2 speakers.

I will say, that the Pro 32 is the first system I have ever owned where I have yet to see the clip light. The array has so much headroom it's just insane. WIth enough bottom end (can always rent), there is not an event I could not do (weddings). As it is, the Sub2 sounds so clean and articulate, and I love how low it goes. It absolutely destroys my ES1203, which was no slouch. Sounds like a Home Theater sub and makes my clothes move. I love it!

MikeyGman, you should hear the Pro32 with the T4s. You can really customize the sound and tailor it to your liking and "the room." The PEQ is a lifesaver in some rooms. I also like being able to have the tone match presets and the ability to fine-tune them at my fingertips.

Thanks Scott!
I guess I have been playing gigs all my life with two speakers and just got used to the sound of both sides. I bought the Bose Pro 32 so I could cut some weight and number of speakers I had to carry. I must admit, the system sounds great! Lots of volume for sure and the bass is very deep. It is good to hear that you have done a lot of gigs over the years with just one unit, so that tells me that I just have to get used to the different sound and balance.
thanks again!
You could get a pro16 so you have a back up, and that would work with a lot of gigs too. I just think having both side by side isn't the way to go. I use my pro16s a lot.

Thank you and I thought that is where the Pro 16 might fit in as a good fill with the Pro 32 - I'm not sure I want to invest another $3000 into another 32, but if money was no object... I would do it in a heartbeat. I love the system so far, one of the best I have heard.
I had a good friend of mine that is a die hard QSC guy, rigs the K12.2's and he was astonished when he heard the Bose Pro 32 - the Sub 2 is a killer sub.

Scott, I see a lot of reviews on the tube that says the 16's have extensive wobble in the column array, this true and if so, any issues you see with your experience with the systems?
thanks again, I appreciate all the insight from the group.

I've seen no more wobble in the 16 than I've had in any L1 since 2006. Never been an issue. Can't compare them to many other line arrays as I don't have a lot of experience with others. I did have to move a turbosound ip200 once and the wobble seemed more than the 16...and I've not heard of anyone that uses those having issues with those either.

I always have 2 speakers with me. I just don't always use the 2nd. Back up😄. Fill is always good when needed too

16 would be a fantastic fill. I thought you were thinking about using them side by side😄

I did get the T4s with the purchase of my BOSE system. I have only used it twice and still trying to figure out how to use it properly. Frankly, I find that it just does not have the versatility of a standard mixer, not enough inputs for my likes. I find it is great for a musician, but I'm not sure it is really designed for DJ?
Beyond my microphone and laptop, I like to have a CD player connected so I can use for fill and back up, I have yet to find an easy way to connect that and be able to control the volume with just one volume knob. Surely I'm missing something or again, just not designed to handle that many inputs. Last weekend I did a wedding and I had the CD player connected, but it took two volume knobs to fully control the volume of the output. Believe me, I am not saying the mixer is completely at fault here, I admit to not fully knowing how to use it. Am I missing something with the connections?

I was a QSC guy for many years. When I went to GC and did head to head tests, the RCF J8 absolutely destroyed the K12.2s I was using for sound quality. After I bought a pair of J8s and got them home, I did a head to head against my KS112 subs with K8's over them. Although the J8s project farther at low volume, they were neck and neck until I got into the top end volume, At max volume, the QSCs started sounding a bit muddy while the J8s just kept pumping out clean sound. Aside from the amazing sound, the biggest selling point with the J8s for me was the array storing inside the woofer. I can now have tops and bottoms in the same space in my SUV that my K12.2s took up. I wish I would have made this move before I bought a pair of K12.2s, K8.2s, and KS112 subs.
