In the past 5 days I have quoted 15 events and booked 10 of them, can’t be a coincidence
I haven’t had any change... my bulk of inquiries happened the moment nj opened up indoor events to 150 people. Since then it’s been steady.

What kind of events are the 15? I can’t imagine them being weddings as they’re on their own timelines, irrelevant of elections and results.

Yeah, Idk, something tells me this is just coincidence. I can't see how an election would factor into wedding... unless they were thinking of moving out of the country if Trump won. I mean realistically, if Trump won, would they hold off their wedding for 4yrs till he was gone lol... plus depending on the area, waiting just a little for an election to pass would cause them to miss out on a bunch of potential dates in the meantime. It could be that people are trying to get their wedding planning done before the holidays? I get that all the time (trying to get everything done before the holidays or the summer when they leave for vacations). In regards to xmas parties, I suppose now that halloween is done, its time to plan holiday parties.

No uptick here. In Massachustts, we're capped at 25 guests indoors and 50 outdoors. In Rhode Island, it's 100 outdoors and 25 indoors. Nobody's dancing.

I can see Holiday parties, since there might be an expectation that Biden will close things down more. Weddings, unless they're happening this year, are maybe excited about the recent news about vaccines and nose sprays. That or they're just tired of thinking about it and just want to move forward.

Maryland is planning on lowering limits like it was in April.
Connecticut is also rolling back openings. We were at Phase 3 and rolled back to Phase 2.1 on 11/6.

10pm closing time for venues and restaurants.
Gathering cap of 25 people indoors, 50 outdoors at commercial locations
Gathering cap of 10 people indoors or outdoors at a private residence (not sure how that will work for the holidays)

Everyone knows the virus is more deadly after 10pm. I could imagine rules designed to limit exposure time for venue workers but dictating a closing time doesn't accomplish that. So many rules make no sense whatsoever.
Most rules don't do much .. the enactors just want them to LOOK like they do something ..

Texas just surpassed 1 million cases on Tuesday night. In less than 48 hours they have 55,000 new cases. California on the verge of hitting 1 million cases.

Looks like Wisconsin is the #8 state in the country at the moment. 42 States are now in the "RED ZONE" and likely every state will be in the red zone within the next 5 or 6 days!

A cleaner way of looking at the data .. how rapidly things are changing ..

Haven't seen any change here....
but I can understand why it may be related to the election.
(AND THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL OPINION)

Perhaps....
there is more confidence in how the virus will be controlled
there is more confidence in the fate of the economy
they associate the current President with the virus and all of it's ill effects
or simply that...the election was making all of the noise in the room...
and now that it's over, that means one less thing to think (or worry) about.

And again, I am not making a political statement,
just an opinion on how people may think and feel.

I think the most important statistic right now is hospitalizations. Several cities are at capacity and infections are still rising. My nephew is dating a nurse at a Chicago hospital. They are running out of PPE. That didn't happen in the first wave. Some states/cities are offering nurses $120/hr and they still can't get enough. For a guy like me with a pre-condition, that is reason to be cautious. Cases in my local county are just starting to go up but so far we haven't seen much of an increase in hospitalizations. I should be around for another couple of weeks.
