Hi

I`ve recently downloaded the 1.4 beta Autokdj plugin and it looks very good.
Following advice I unticked everything except the zip box when installing. The plugin is installed ok and Autokdj works ok and looks very useful.
However when try to play zipped files as soon as I use File PLAY menu item and choose the zipped file I get a message end of playback. The zip plugin seems to be installed OK and is listed in the input plugins. I`m using winamp 5.541.
The zip files do not appear in the file list unless I choose ALL FILE Types.
I zip the CDG and the MP3 file into a archive with the same name as the two files e.g
Disk-01 - song title - Artist.
Just wondering if anyone can suggest a fix or let me know where I`m going wrong.

Cheers

Paul

1. When installing AutOKdj you should have allowed all of the plug-in defaults to install, did you do that?

2. Are you using the "Song Entry" or are you simply looking at the "Local Media" view?

3. If you are using the "Song Entry" view you should be entering a singers name then select a song and click "Karaoke Enque"... simply draging a song to the Playlist editor wont work unless your files are unzipped first. Winamp will not play a ZIP file on it's own dispite it being a selected format to display in the Media Library.

Take a look at this: http://www.totalimpactdjs.com/AutOKdj.html

And then look at this... sorry no audio in it and it's a rather large download:

Hi

Big thanks to the wizard of OZ for pointing me in the right direction also thanks to Jokerswild for the great answer and links.
I`m not too familar with Winamp as I tend to use media player for general stuff - however I`m most impressed with the Autokdj plugin - its awesome.
Now I`m sorted I can have a play.
Hope the guys behind Autokdj carry on developing the prog and I can understand there stand on piracy.

Great forum and hope to be back soon.

I have it on good athority that an update is forth comming.... but they have to work out security issues so someone don't mess with the source code and start problems.... (ie fake AutOKdj programs)

BTW the latest build is RC1 but Beta 1.4 is stable and very useable.... and still readily available from other download sources....

As soon as I know anything about forth comming publicly released versions of AutOKdj.... ODJT will be the first to know.

Visit the 7Bamboo website and chat with Toqer in the IRC chat room #karaoke or #autokdj get to know them prove you are on the up and up and you should get the hook up.

Hi Jokerswild

Big thanks for the help and I will have a look on the bamboo 7 site as I would love to be able to get updates etc. for the autokdj prog.

Cheers
