Hey there everyone!! My name is Daniel or my DJ name is OH HuHuu!! I am hailing from Toronto, Canada!

Looking for any interested bodies who are DJ Hobbyist or even beginner DJs looking to gather online and do some remote B2B crate digging for new music!

I am usually digging for new music on Fridays for upcoming gigs on the weekends and I am looking for any individuals who might be up for the challenge to dig for new tunes together remotely. There are a few real cool browser applications which allow us to gather together and dig for new tunes!

Reply to thread and lets met online for a jam session on Friday or sometime this week!!

Cheers,
Oh HuHuu

So basically you're looking for someone to help you find free music or share their music with you?
I wouldn't know which sites are used for "FREE MUSIC" and I do not want to know either! I actually pay for the Beatport DJ subscription which allows users to gather remotely online and B2B DJ and dig for new music. I also need to buy lossless audio for club gigs and I am pretty the best source I use for uncompressed audio is BEATPORT! So, basically I never mentioned anything about free music or sharing, just you did :) <3

Thanks,
Oh HuHuu

Welcome Daniel.
Im not a club dj, pretty much stick with weddings and private parties. I get tons of music that I’ll never play from promo only. The thought of spending time looking for new music is not something I would want to do. I focus on finding songs that the particular crowd I’m playing for will want to hear.

But welcome to ODJT and wish you luck on your quest

Sounds like the new version of what I used to do when I would take that weekly trip into NYC to pickup records at Rock & Soul and at my record pool. It was amazing what you had to do just to get music then. Now I do most of my music digging while I’m driving but I really don’t VJ of DJ much anymore unless they want throwback stuff.

What you should have for is a site where you can get new music as you described it. See if that works for you.

DJs on this site are mobile DJs and don't have the pressing requisite to search for new and different sounds because they seldom have the same audience week to week. The audience they do have at weddings and such, isn't going out every week and thrives on trends or music that would have already past in the club scene. It can literally take years for something that is no longer useful in a club to fade out in the mobile market.
