I'm famous for getting paid for most of the events I do ;)
Mix doesn't want that kind of fame .. too demanding .. he just wants to be famous spinning those house hits from 1981-1982.

No I do more than that. I remember that as the time around here that you didn't need to find a clean version of a song and you didn't worry about if you did an event there being trouble at the event. I find nowadays I have to be selective as to what events I agree to do.

On Friday night as I was setting up, two ladies came up to me and said "We were trying to figure out where we know you from... you were the DJ at the church dances...

At first, I found it very funny that that same people who go to church dances....
also hang out at the bar in the casino.
And they are "regulars" at both places!

They were 12 when I was DJing the church dances, which were open to anyone in grades 6 to 8 regardless of whether or not you actually went to that church regularly. They're in their early 30s now.

It’s funny, my entry into the mobile aspect of things was also mostly based around youth church dances and church banquets. Who would’ve guessed that those would’ve led to the events that I do now. All gotta start somewhere I guess.

I'm famous for not making stupid, ego-driven posts on DJ forums and avoiding the negative recognition this generates.
.. especially if one isn't even famous for what they believe they're famous for ...

I'm famous for being the best Dj in Ohio,
