I agree! I already asked and was ghosted. How about a website? Anything??

Yes we willWe won't judge.
Every performance is an audition for future businessI've heard people think like this over and over. Mix, if people see you over and over without a facade, they're inclined to believe it's not something you do. Why would they waste their time and energy calling to ask if you do it. People don't ask about what they don't see. For example... I've removed the tv's from my pricing in the spring... guess what, no one asks me about it anymore. On the flipside, I had a consultation with a bride today... she said "I see this really cool white board for your dj booth in a lot of photos...is this something that's extra or included". She sees it, therefore she asks.
This is like others on here saying people don't ask me for lighting or sparklers or if I mix... if they haven't experienced you do it, or it being done right... why would they call you to see if you CAN do it. They'll just call the person they KNOW will do it.
Where would I have bought one second hand? I wanted it brand new. No need on taking a chance the on the condition of a second hand one and if it had the bag with it. When I retire you can buy this one from me. Lol.You could’ve bought that same one second hand for like $150
I haven't played in a bar in years and it will work just fine. You have to use a table with your table top setup. With this the table is built in. So I don't have to pull out a table or use one at the venue. I still have 2 tables in the van and if someone needs a table to use they can since I won't need a table. Not at all elegant. Not ideal for bars , outside & hand ball courts. Won't look new for long.
What do I use? Table topper. Most of the venues or clients like to match the deco to the room.
If not, I'll skrim the table along with a topper.
Outside, a nice black tablecloth with a black topper
Have you seen the hank lane band and other high end bands. For their sitting members they have tiny facades for them that cover most of their bodies.I like using a table and having my rig exposed. I want people to be able to see what I do, to be right there and have people come around and be part of it.
As long as it's clean and efficient it's fine.
I don't guitar players or other musicians hiding behind a cocoon, so why should I?

Yeah but they do it for appearance purposes. They could keep em out in the open like most other bAnds. That's just a throw-back to the 30's and 40's big bands.
That's just a throw-back to the 30's and 40's big bands. It's there so they can keep the attachments for the instruments, their personal care products, and water out of sight. It's pretty common with an orchestra of any kind.that requires seated wind or string players.
