I want to put my Pioneer DDJ-SX3 and my Xover below that. So this case has 1u space below. Right now I’m carrying my controller in a bag which is nice, but i can eliminate 2 boxes by combining my controller and x-over in one box not to mention 2 less patch cords to connect during setup.
What do you think of this product, any recommend something else.C8A34612-C2CB-46E1-A402-B72AC67C9C89.png

I've never owned one but I used one on a friends gear a while back I'm pretty sure it is the exact case it was a couple of years old at least and it was solid as a rock

You will be fine with that case. They make good cases. I love the ones with a shelf for a laptop. I have one that has the shelf. My question is how heavy is that controller. A DJ friend has a controller that's in a case with wheels on it. That's how heavy the controller is.

Yes,,,, thanks. I went to the website. That is a better description. What do you think. Do you use something like this?
I don't have that exact case or brand .. but one similar to it. I don't have anything under my controller and don't recall any room for anything under it in my specific case. Something to keep in mind, electronics hate heat - the less air flow you have, the more heat there is. The more electronics, the more heat.

Here's my case: https://www.pioneerdj.com/en-us/product/accessories/djc-fltsz/flight-case/overview/

My controller is probably one of the larger ones on the market. Ddj-sx3....soooo the wheels on the case are a must.

I have that brand/model for ddj-sr2. My thoughts...
1. It's heavy. - Solid build. A friend has one for his sx3 and it needs the wheels that are on it.
2. Controller fits great. - nice and snug. The hard plastic dust covers fit also (mine just a tiny bit of trimming to some internal foam).
3. If you use an ADJ pro event table, it's not high enough for the sliding shelf to work unless you raise the booth table about an inch. (You can do this by screwing in the table brace tightening screws before you put the table braces in. ;-) )
4. My laptop shelf slides off too easily. meaning if I slide it open and I'm not careful, it will slide off the back. Mine has small "plates" on some screws inside the case that rotate up and will stop the top shelf from sliding too far. It works, but took me a while to figure it out. This is my only complaint about the case.

I've had that happen. Just have to be careful when sliding the shelve.
