If you’ve ever been to a wedding with a photobooth you already know the answer, Photo booths are the best entertainment and are so much FUN. The atmosphere at a wedding reception is full of energy. All your friends are there as well as family members you haven’t seen for a while. Capture the moment by getting your photos taken inside the photobooth and then share the images with your guests.

Photo booths create life long memories. There is nothing like a little sibling rivalry to see who can make the goofiest strip or seeing the charm of 12 old friends trying to fit in a small booth. Compare your photos; you might even want your DJ to announce a contest for the funniest photo. You can even use the photo booth as an ice breaker by playing games like Photo Tag or Mix and Match, (email us for details/rules). Whatever you do we’re sure you’ll have a great time in the process.

Photographs are also the perfect party favor. Even your most modest guest will love a photograph of themselves and they’re fun to trade and collect. You'll want all your guests to have a great time, let them remember it by renting a photobooth from us today.

now thats new to me and its something I might look into locally as well...

We had this at a wedding and at a company party.

For the wedding, the bride and groom had it set where there were 3 pics taken of the guests. One of the pics would then go into the guest book next to the guest's signature. I think they uses double backed tape to attach it?

For the company party, the picture came out with the company name and date on it.

Both were big hits!

Only reason I asked about this was because we never had it in Australia...

Definitely Sounds cool, wouldnt this be something the photog would do though or someone already branded for such services like Kirby?

there are about 3-5 companies that provide these here in Orlando. The guest usually keep one copy of the picks and put another copy in the guest book. A coordinator I work with said that last week they had one and she had to remove over a dozen nude pics from the guest book. I have had them at 3 weddings so far and they have been broken half of the time. Not something that I am suggesting to brides anytime soon.

They are this weeks Flavor

think Chocolate fountain from recent past.:sqwink:

I actually make complete digital photo booths. I was floored by the price of the portables I saw at the Vegas show ($7000.00) so I figured out how to make my own using a better camera, and far more sophisticated software. I can do A complete booth for $3000

I love them.. though I've only used it for two events now (one was a freebie with the stipulation that it was a trial by fire)

I'll tell you.. $800.00 to roll the thing in, set it, and walk away....

easiest money I ever made... It costs me about $80 in cartridges and paper per event.

The guests are in line to use it all night. I give them one strip per session, but they can easily go to their event site, and download and print unlimited copies for the next week. I can put logos, event info, and other such stuff on the photo strips.

It's really pretty cool.

And best of all, I use a real 7 m.p. Canon instead of a video camera like most digital booths.. the video gives you a crummy quality shot.. mine gives you a beautiful print.

Bump!

Yes, Steve, details.. details!

OK, There are several photo booth packages out there...

They're all super expensive..

well, I found a couple that are not...

the first is a program called mugshot machine... just google that.. it's a freeware mac software.. but honestly, for what an inexpensive mac would cost, you're still way under a grand...

The second is an option that I'm working on.. it is a little more expensive, but also a bit more sophisticated...

it's basically using a proprietary software and can control a Canon or Nikon DSLR..

as for the booth, you can build anything you want...

you could even just set the guts on a table with a big push button to activate it, and have folks stand in front of a backdrop like at the prom...

pretty wild!

lol well i'll bump this one again - info is very usefull
