This looks interesting. Inverter, 4000 watts, 17 hours runtime, all for only $700.

Nothing beats a handa eu gen for ultra quiet operation. They are energy efficient with an inverter and are bullet proof. Honda set the bar very high and the rest are trying to catch up.

The Honda only runs 4-5 hours. I've always been extremely nervous about using them for receptions.

I have been using a Honda EU3000is for over 10 years at the race track almost every weekend and I holds just shy of three gallons of fuel. It will run at full load for 14 hours on that 3 gallons. It runs from Friday afternoon till Sunday evening without shutting it off.
During a power outage that lasted 14 days it ran 24/7 for 14 days. The only time I shut it off was to check the oil once a day. It has thousands of hours on it and it still starts with a single bump of the starter or a single pull of the starter rope. It's so quiet you can barely hear it running at 56db's If you walk away just 50 feet you can't hear it running at all.
verses a 5000 watt gen I bought at tractor supply that held 6 gallons and only ran 4 hours and was so loud you could hear it running over 120db pa system. The Honda has a built in inverter that delivers safe clean sign wave to protect your sensitive equipment. And it has a throttle management system that makes it idle down when your running a small load. At a 1/4 load it will run almost 20 hours on 3 gallons of fuel and if you start using more power it automatically speeds up and slows down according on power usage,
Many other people at the track used all types of brands like Yamaha, Makita, and many other off brands and they always had issues and were left in the dark. Plus the others were so loud that would place them 100 yards away from there camper and they were still very loud and didn't have an inverter so the sign wave was unsafe for TV's computers and other sensitive equipment.
I can run my full 10,000 watt PA on one EU3000is for 12 hours on 3 gallons of fuel and it can sit right next to the stage without being heard instead of having it sit a hundred yards away and still hear those cheap knock off's blasting in the background. I now have 2 of the EU3000is generators that can be paralleled together for a total of 6000 watts of clean quiet power.
Honda set the bar and all the others are trying to catch up and match it's performance. Honda's are bullet proof. Mine has never failed, not even once. I have one eu3000is at home for running the house when the power goes out and another mounted in my toy hauler for using at the track.
I use several ACP power ups on my TV and PC and security cameras and when the power goes out they stay on for several hours till the power comes back on or I switch over to the generator without so much as a single blip of power loss. Honda gens are the best on the market for the price. The one on my toy hauler is mounted on the tung and you can't even hear it inside the toy hauler/camper. You can't even feel the vibration ether. They are smooth quiet and dependable and very economic to run.
Go to a dealer and have them start one up, you will ask, is that thing running? They are simply the quietest gens on the market, bar none.
Now the eu2000is and the eu1000is is limited to about 5 or 6 hours run time on a tank of fuel, but it only holds about a gallon of fuel. They are just as quiet but are limited to just 2000 watts for the eu2000is and only 1000 watts for the eu1000is. But they are just as quiet and all have the built in inverter.
How long does your gig last? Most gigs are only 4 hours anyway and you can always refuel without shutting it off.
You can even buy a kit that will run the gen on propane and with a 5 gallon propane bottle it should run all day.
