You can pick up the JRX series for about the same price as compriable Peaveys and in my opinion better sounding

The darn ol Peaveys are tough though so are Yorkville

LOL... while you are right about that... I've listened to this song and maybe I'm just old but this song is just Blah for me... I'll play it only because it gets the crowd going young and old....

One song that surprised me was a PCD tune Stickwitu I did a wedding and this couple in their 70's actually got up and danced to this tune... it was weird and fantastic all at the same time....
 
So, I'm dying here... Zman how did your first gig turn out.... I see in a couple of posts that you talk about 2nd and 3rd gigs... and the fact that some of the new gigs were spawned from your first and people being impressed with it... but I get the impression that you have not yet done the gig... so I'm a bit confused. Have you performed the fated first gig yet?

If so, you've not posted the outcome yet. Which is why I'm confused about having a 2nd, 3rd gigs and no report on the first.
 
First two gigs are now under my belt. I've posted outcomes, but my scatter brain tendencies lead me to post where the spirit moves me rather than the logical place sometimes.

First gig report is posted under "The New School/Youth Dance Forum" Sticky, post #5 I believe.

Second gig report is posted under "Gig Report 10/4/07 - Middle School Dance"

Third gig report to come this weekend after high school homecoming dance. I'll post the report in a similar manner to my second gig report, that is if I remember.
